Going back thirty years this was easily found in the UK and all-around Asia. It was really like the Asian Common Goldfish back in the day but as years have progressed it is another variety that fell out of favour, and in turn made this fish very scarce indeed. A strong hardy type suitable for Ponds or Aquariums now hard to find but a recent resurgence in interest of the fish may encourage the breeders to get behind the fish again.
