Delivery and Shipping

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY FISH ORDER?

Generally speaking we aim to get the fish to you without delay. If the fish is in stock we will dispatch your order as soon as possible. If it is not in stock then there may be a few days delay until we bring the fish through and they are ready to go. We would however never just send your order without first contacting you and informing you of the delivery day to expect your fish and we will contact you should there be any significant delay in us despatching your order.

If you do have a preference of a delivery day, that is to say Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday then please put this on the order. These are our delivery days. Please see separate section below for carriage charges and delivery days.

CARRIAGE CHARGES/ DELIVERY DAYS

We can deliver to most parts of England, Wales and Scotland and although there are some parts of Scotland we are unable to deliver to we can get to most areas. The cost of the delivery charge is £26.50 plus VAT. If you do live in Scotland and you are not sure if we can get to you please give us a call or email us and we will be pleased to confirm the position. We can send fish to Northern Ireland, namely into George Best Airport and the charges would be the same as a general Export into Europe, please see under Export Costs Heading. We only offer delivery into Northern Ireland by Livestock Air Cargo.

Our delivery days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Generally our courier is very good as they are used to handling our fish over the last 15 years and can achieve an AM delivery for our customers. On the odd occasion subject to varying conditions sometimes the fish can arrive later. However, as we all have a duty of care to the fish they are treated as a priority. We would ask customers placing orders on line not to request the fish be left on a door step or in the garage because our deliveries need someone to be there to take the fish in even if we have to leave with a friendly neighbor who can sign for them and keep the fish safe. We do not want to leave the fish unattended and a signature for their receipt will be required by the courier.

FISH DELAYED IN TRANSIT

If there is for what ever reason a delay in you receiving the fish please do not worry too much from the fishes point of view as we have packed and cared for them to allow for anything that may cause a hold up in you receiving them on time.

EXPORT COSTS INTO EUROPE AND REST OF THE WORLD

As a general rule of thumb the cost to send fish into Europe by Livestock Air Cargo is approximately £350.00 plus document charges . Legal Government paperwork will generally have to accompany the export shipment all of which can be arranged by us.

We can get exact quotes for sending the fish when we know the country of destination. The cost however is generally the same to send one fish as thirty fishes . We can also send to many other destinations around the World aside from Europe and we would be happy to quote for this.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Due to legislation between countries we are currently unable to send to USA, Canada and Brazil. We hope this will change in due course so please stay in touch if you are within one of these countries.
